Andorra. Prime Minister Albert Pintat Santolària
refurnished the government in May. According to
CountryAAH, the number of ministers
was reduced from eleven to nine. Two ministers retained
their previous post, five were given new duties and two were
added.

Andorra la Vella
Andorra la Vella, capital of Andorra; 19,800 residents (2019). Andorra la
Vella, located at Gran Valira in the southern part of the country, is an
expansive commercial and tourist center, whose population has grown
dramatically. The city has significant crafts, among other things. jewelry
manufacturing and small industry, mainly textile industry. La Casa des Valls
from the 16th century holds the official functions.
Andorra la Vella, during the Middle Ages, constituted the Nora
congregation, one of the six congregations that together formed Andorra. After
being long characterized by old-fashioned village buildings, the resort began to
be modernized in the 1930s, and especially from the 1960s Andorra la Vella has
developed into a modern city with emphasis on trade.
