Yearbook 2007 Albania. The ruling right-wing coalition suffered a stinging defeat when municipal elections were held in February. The opposition bloc, led by the Socialist Party PSSH, won in a majority of municipalities, including the capital Tirana. The government coalition only won in one major city: Shkodër.
