Cloud County, Kansas is located in the north-central part of the state and is home to a population of approximately 8,000 people. The county seat is Concordia which sits along the Republican River and is known for its historical sites and outdoor recreation opportunities. The county was established in 1867 and was named after William F. Cloud, a prominent local politician.
