The climate of Vava'u Vava'u is an archipelago in northern Tonga. The archipelago consists of the main island of Vava'u and about 40 smaller islands. The capital of this archipelago is Neiafu. Mount Talau is the highest point of Vava'u at 131 meters. The islands are known for their vanilla, which is among the best in the world.
